Note from Editor: NSTP will be participating in the Monday panel discussion – Tax Pro & Entrepreneur: Unleashing Your Potential in the Tax Industry. This session will run on the Monday prior to each Forum and all attendees are welcome to attend. You must be registered for the IRS National Tax Forums in order to attend the Special Events.

Maximize your time at the forum by attending this Monday evening discussion with the nation’s leading tax professional associations. This session aims to foster the growth and development of tax professionals whether they have decades of experience or are new to the field.

Wednesday (6:45am – 7:45am) Wednesday Rise & Shine - The Written Information Security Plan

Fact: The FTC requires every tax professional to have a Written Information Security Plan, or WISP. Have you completed yours? Bring your tough questions to Jared Ballew, Chair of the IRS Electronic Tax Administration Advisory Committee and WISP expert.

Wednesday (4:30pm – 5:30pm) Wednesday Town Hall - Meet National Taxpayer Advocate Erin Collins

Join the Advocate during the NTF Networking Reception to discuss emerging issues facing taxpayers and tax practitioners. By statute, the Advocate is the “voice of the taxpayers”. She wants to hear from the tax professional community and welcomes your participation in addressing these concerns. Includes Q&A.
