I graduated from Northland college in Ashland WI in 1997 with an accounting degree. I then started working for a local CPA firm for 4 years. After that I started my own company and merged with another CPA in 2005.
I currently have 4 full time employees and of course, I have more part time people doing tax returns. We do year around bookkeeping/payroll for clients, a few financial reviews ever year and all types of taxes. We do the simple 1 W2 and a dependent, to the multiple state income taxes for our pipe line workers.
In my firm, we do bookkeeping, payroll and tax returns for many different types of clients. From the small “mom and pop” restaurants to the multi million dollar businesses. All of them have can have unique items that relate only to them. Over the years, I have tried to learn as much as possible about tax law so that I can help them the most in each of their situations.
Every year, not only do I do continuing education but my enrolled agents and other tax preparers are required to do continuing education. Not just because they are required to by law but because we want to do the best job for our clients.
I am married and my wife and I have 4 children and we still live in Ashland WI.
Thank you for the consideration and I would be willing to receive emails at rpierce@ep-cpas.com to answer questions that other members might have.
