Reminder of Tax Season Deadlines
With all of the changes resulting from the coronavirus it is easy to get lost in the fact that we are still trying to squeeze in tax returns with all of the challenges of working from home (WFH), client concerns and ensuring family safety and health. As of this writing the deadline for the second quarter estimated tax payment has not changed. Following are upcoming deadlines:

April 15, 2020 | FBAR, FinCen Form 114 (however, still receives an automatic extension to October 15) |
April 30, 2020 | First quarter payroll tax returns |
May 15, 2020 | Calendar year Form 990 and 990-T |
June 15, 2020 | 2020 - 2nd quarter estimated tax payment |
June 15, 2020 | Individual tax returns for those living outside the U.S. |
July 15, 2020 | Forms 1040, 1120, 709 and fiscal year partnerships, S corporations and estates/trusts with an original due date of April 15, 2020 |
July 31, 2020 | Second quarter payroll tax returns |
September 15, 2020 | Tax returns originally due March 15 (calendar year partnership, S corporations and estates/trusts) with a timely filed extension |
September 15, 2020 | 2020 - 3rd quarter estimated tax payment |
October 15, 2020 | Tax returns originally due July 15 (individual and C corporations) with a timely filed extension |
October 15, 2020 | FBAR, FinCen Form 114 |
November 2, 2020 | Third quarter payroll tax returns |
December 15, 2020 | Corporate 2020 - 4th quarter estimated tax payment |
January 15, 2021 | Individual 2020 - 4th quarter estimated tax payment |
February 1, 2021 | Form W2 and Form 1099-NEC due to employees/recipients, IRS and Social Security Administration |
