NSTP's Grand Event learning objectives are to provide the seasoned professional and the developing tax practitioner with an array of in-depth study of the field of federal tax law.

Course level addresses Up-To-Date issues facing the Profession. It is recommended that participants have a working knowledge of the principles of Federal Income Tax Law.

Advance preparation is not required.

The course instruction is presented live by seasoned instructors who will allow your questions to be asked.

Course Level: Intermediate to Advanced

The National Society of Tax Professionals (NSTP) is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. The cost of attending the Orlando Grand Event seminar is $235 for members, $285 for non-members. The Orlando Grand Event seminar is 12 CPE credits.

Ethics in 2011 and the Amended Circular 230 Issues

This course provides the Tax Professional with a common sense approach to the world of "ethics" as it applies to the tax preparing community in today's changing and challenging environment. The standards that are required and needed in order to continue to be in compliance with the recent amendments to the IRS Circular 230 Regulations will be reviewed.

A review of the role of the Enrolled Agent, CPA and tax return preparer will be discussed and examined.

2 CPE credit hours in Tax Ethics will be earned under the rules granted by the IRS.

Administrative Policies

LATE REGISTRATION: Registrations must be received no later then 7 days prior to the date of the seminar. Registrations received after this date will be subject to a late fee of $35.00.

NSTP follows strict administrative policies.

REFUNDS: NSTP provides refunds to registrants up to 14 days prior to the date of the education. For those registrants canceling within 14 days prior to the education date NSTP will allow attendance at another seminar site. If there are extraordinary circumstances NSTP will allow the participant to attend a future education course. An administrative charge of $25 will be assessed if canceled.

CANCELLATION: NSTP reserves the right to cancel any program or course for circumstances that are not under direct control of NSTP. If a course or program is canceled, participants will be refunded 100% of their registration fee.
