- Responsible for the preparation and review of Federal consolidated returns and separate stand alone corporation Form 1120
- Federal tax disclosures and statements, and estimated tax payments
- Income tax accounting: assist with worldwide tax provision, deferred tax accounts, and related financial statement disclosures.
- Assist with special projects including: Section 199-domestic manufacturing deduction; UNICAP and LIFO; modeling and cost benefit analysis
- Assist with IRS audits.
- Provide support and assistance to the tax managers in all aspects of the compliance function to include technical research and analysis.
- You will be involved in streamlining processes in line with IFRS.
Qualifications for this position are the following:
- BA or BS in accounting or equivalent.
- 3-6 years experience with emphasis on Federal compliance, research, and accounting for income taxes
- Good written and verbal communications skills.
- Computer proficient in Excel and Word.
- Insource tax preparation software experience a plus.
While not required, candidates with the following would be preferred:
- CPA or MST
- Large corporate multinational, multi state, and international experience
- Familiarity with SAP and Insource tax software
- Advanced spreadsheet and data manipulation skills
